The drawing is called
“The Promise“
After writing the poem below, I worked with a quill pen to create this gift in honor of my youngest brother and his wife.

The poem reads:
“Across the years I will walk with you –
in deep green forests; on shores of sand:
and when our time on earth is through,
in heaven, too, you will have my hand.”

This poem of mine was quoted by Patty Davis, Nancy and Ronald Reagan’s daughter, at Nancy Reagan’s televised memorial service.
